There were a lot of folks working against inclusion and diversity in Leander during last year’s election season.
Know what? They’re still here, y’all. And it seems they have a particular fondness for David McDonald, who is running for Leander City Council Place 3.
Others running in Place 3 include Juan Alanis, Steve Hanes, and Roslyn Littles.
With multiple IDEAL members running, we declined to endorse a specific candidate in that race. However, we strongly recommend against McDonald due to his support from previous mayor Troy Hill and well-known political instigator Andy Pitts. (Read more on why.)
